I started getting plateled rich plasma injections for the osteo arthrithis in my hips. Now after two years it was up to 5.4. I recieved a plateled injection on April 5 two weeks later I had a blood test done and my PSA rose to 6.9. Is this just a coiencedense or could the plateled treatments be causing my PSA level to rise. My urologist checked me digitally and found nothing. He then did a blood test and told me my chances or having prostate cancer are 28 percent for and 72 percent against. He then sent me for a cat scan the results showed nothing. He is sending me for biopsy on Monday. The results so far look good the biopsy will tell for sure.All the more reason I question if the platled treatments are causing my PSA level to rise.Do think this is possible.
